Comfortable, natural-looking and made for you. Custom-made dentures that restore your smile, your chewing and your confidence, with consultant-led planning. Partial, full and implant-retained options.
Every set of dentures begins with careful assessment and planning. Your treatment is guided by:
✔ The health of your gums and any remaining teeth
✔ Your jaw structure and bite
✔ Comfort, stability and how you eat and speak
✔ Shade, shape and a natural appearance that suits your face
Your plan is led by Dr Sherif Elbarbary, consultant in prosthodontics, who has over a decade of experience in complex restorative dentistry. We'll also explain every alternative, including implants and bridges, so you can choose with confidence.
Dentures are removable appliances that replace one or more missing teeth. They're made to fit comfortably over your gums and are carefully shaped to restore the appearance of natural teeth, and to support everyday functions such as eating and speaking. They can replace a few missing teeth or a full arch, depending on your circumstances.
Our dentures are typically crafted from high-quality acrylic and designed around your mouth, your smile and your individual needs. At Harley Private, our approach prioritises comfort, stability and natural-looking results.

Missing teeth affect more than appearance. They can change how you eat, how you speak and how your face looks, and they can knock your confidence. Well-made dentures restore all of these, with a fit that's comfortable enough to forget about.
Types of dentures
Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, and are designed to sit comfortably alongside them.
Full dentures are used when all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing.
Implant-retained dentures are secured to dental implants for extra stability, so they don't move when you eat or speak.
Most dentures are made from acrylic, which is lightweight, adaptable and natural-looking. Your dentist will explain which type is most suitable after assessment.
Best suited for: multiple missing teeth, patients who want a removable replacement option, and anyone not suitable for, or not wishing to have, dental implants.

These frequently asked questions are designed to give clear, honest information about dentures. If you have further questions, we can discuss them in detail at your consultation.
Dentures at Harley Private start from £1,050, and implant-retained dentures from £6,500. The final fee depends on the type of denture and how many teeth are replaced, and we confirm it before treatment begins.
With proper care, dentures can last several years. Over time, adjustments or replacement may be needed as the shape of your gums and jaw naturally changes.
Dentures are custom-made for comfort, but it can take time to adjust. Mild soreness or changes in speech are common at first and usually improve with wear and minor adjustments.
Most patients eat comfortably once they've adjusted. Starting with softer foods and gradually introducing firmer textures can help.
It can feel different at first, particularly with certain sounds. This usually settles within a few weeks as you get used to them.
Tell us as soon as you notice rubbing or a loose fit. Small adjustments are a normal part of the process, and we'll refine the fit at follow-up appointments.
Well-fitting dentures don't always need it. If your dentures feel loose, tell us rather than relying on adhesive, as the fit can usually be improved.
Your treatment is planned and overseen by an experienced clinician, including consultant-led planning with Dr Sherif Elbarbary for more complex cases.
